And Les, a professional firefighter, is happy to help on his days off - lawns, rubbish removal, changing those pesky downlights (and of course, the batteries in the smoke alarm) - when needed.
I know of many older people whose lives have been turned upside down since the quakes, forcing them out of their homes into completely different environments. Moving is traumatic enough. Aftershocks, an unfamiliar area, loss of empowerment and control over our destiny can leave us all feeling a bit helpless about the future. I know most seniors hate to ask for help, but a tiny thing like keeping your own doctor or hairdresser can retain some sort of normality in your life, even if you�ve moved out of the district. With me, you get a friendly smile, continuity, comfortable transport and affordable rates. You will feel respected and valued while solving your time or mobility problems.
As a former nurse, customs officer, owner/operator of a backpackers hostel, and published romance author, (see my backlist page), you'd be right in thinking I liked people and was an honest, dependable type. You can rely on me to get you or your family there and back safely and not rip you off or take advantage of your good nature and/or vulnerabilities.
I am friendly and mature, have an unblemished driving record and am licensed to carry passengers. I have been vetted by the NZ Police and UK Police, in accordance with the strict guidelines of the NZ Transport Agency. I have a super-comfortable car with high seats for easy access and plenty of room for your parcels. The car can be unmarked on our outings if you prefer.
